SIGNARAMA takes life easy at Tilbury Docks
SIGNARAMA easy-ly rose to the challenge of branding 80 vans in two days on a dockside! Tasked to fit the new fleet of Mercedes Vito vans for easyVan.com on Tilbury Docks, SIGNARAMA Northampton set to work. In a record two days the new low cost van hire service from Stelios, founder of easyJet, had a fleet ready for distribution around the UK.
The vans feature vinyl graphics in easyVan's eye catching orange livery, supplied by Doro Tape from Ritrama's L100 range who also met the challenging timescale. Of the 33 colours in the range, the orange proved to be the perfect match for the easyVan insignia.
Mike Cook, from SIGNARAMA Northampton says: "The biggest challenge with this project was the deadline. Our solution was to prepare the graphics in advance in our Northhampton store. A team of six of us then worked systematically applying the graphics to half a dozen vans at a time, until the project was completed."
easyVan's Marketing Director John Sinke comments "We are delighted with the way in which SIGNARAMA tackled this project. We had an extremely tight deadline which they met and all 80 vans are now in service with Northgate plc, easyVan's partner and main supplier."
John added: "We have continued to work with SIGRARAMA since the resounding success of the first order, and over the last eight months they have completed a further 250 vehicles for easyVan."
