SIGNARAMA faces up to the Sun
Just as SIGNARAMA Stockport store manager, Martin Denton, was shutting up shop....he received a phone call from The Sun newspaper desperate for help. In a bid to persuade Sir Alex Ferguson to keep Tevez, The Sun planned to ship their Page 3 girls in The Sun bus to the Manchester United/Arsenal match the next morning and showcase their support for the popular player!
To make their point, they planned to face Sir Alex outside Old Trafford with a sea of faces....all of Tevez! Their plan was to dress each Page 3 girl and fans in the crowd with masks of Tevez.
Martin said: "SIGNARAMA prides itself on going the extra mile for clients; and we certainly did in this instance! The Sun's idea to mask fans and Page 3 girls was fabulous - we were concerned that people would be wearing mush rather than masks though if it rained, so we made the masks out of banner material. It was a race to meet The Sun's deadline, but we had the resources and equipment to succeed. The results were fabulous - and certainly created a spectacular impression."
The team at The Sun reported back to us that they had been really pleased with the masks, which they said were produced to an exceptionally high standard in record time and had a fantastic impact at the stadium.
