Cars galore for SIGNARAMA Heathrow

When Fulton Suzuki, in Ashford Middlesex, needed signage for their dealership, SIGNARAMA Heathrow was the natural choice for the job.

The project required a range of signage not only for the exterior of the dealership but also for the cars. SIGNARAMA Heathrow provided the vinyl graphics used on the windows, the black signs on the front of the building and the post and panel and triangular signage used on the forecourt.

In addition they have also created a range of signage to be used on the cars themselves, including number plate banners and POS used in the cars. Such has been the success of the signage that many local residents now use the garage as a landmark when giving directions.

Whilst the project was fairly straightforward the window graphics did require the specialist use of a tower when they were installed. In addition the team from SIGNARAMA had to contend with the fact that the windows were 15 feet above the ground and that the signs being applied are 1.5 metres tall.

As often happens in business successful completion of one project can lead to other opportunities. In SIGNARMA Heathrow's case, they were approached by Hugo Pereira, Sales Manager for Fulton Suzuki, regarding the possibility of sponsoring the Radical car he races in the Portuguese Endurance Championship. The sponsorship involved the provision of three sets of 10 stickers to be used on the car during the season.

Because all the races took place in Portugal, SIGNARAMA were often asked to manufacture the stickers less than 24 hours before Hugo flew out to compete in the race. Once he got to the race track Hugo would apply the stickers to the car himself. At the end of the season after five thrilling race weekends, Hugo was crowned champion of the 2009 Portuguese Endurance Championship.
