Sunburst Snacks Ltd is an Edmonton based wholesaler who produces and distributes nuts and dried fruit, sourcing only the finest quality products from around the world. They roast, mix, pack and deliver a wide range of products throughout the UK and Europe. The third-generation, family run business has been a loyal customer for more than 5 years. From the start we supplied them with outstanding vehicle sign writing and have built a good professional working relationship with the family. This time they needed help with replacing their existing fascia sign to a more fresh, modern and eye-catching sign for their company. We worked closely with the team at Sunburst from the design stage to artwork sign off, finalising the technical specifications of the sign to suite their requirements and preferences producing visuals of how the finished signage would look. The end result was an aluminium tray sign with built-up powder coated three-dimensional logo and vinyl secondary text. The challenge was that Sunburst were also getting their building insulated, and the insulation would not be able to support the weight of the quite large, 5m wide fascia sign. Therefore, traditional fixings would not be secure, so a safe and long-lasting installation method needed to be found. The solution was a timber support reinforcement system which had to be built in behind the insulation. The sign would have to be installed using special locators which would go through the insulation and support the full weight of the sign. With this technique the sign would not only be fixed securely, but it also made sure that the sign would not sit on or touch the insulation creating an air gap between the sign and finished wall for ventilation purposes. Sunburst was very happy with the end result. The new sign is clear, easy to read, and the three-dimensional effect stands out much more than their previous sign giving them the professional and established look their company deserves, standing out in the neighbourhood.
