Vom Fass retails a selection of beautifully packaged oils, vinegars, wines and spirits from their kiosk in the centre:mk shopping centre in Milton Keynes. After their first year of trading they decided that, in order to clearly define what they did, they needed a series of lightboxes on which they could display their products. Their search for these led them to the team at Signarama Milton Keynes, who were able to work with them to create the bespoke lightboxes that were required. Vom Fass has recently moved to their new permanent site in centre:mk and again they called upon Signarama Milton Keynes. This time they set the signage company the challenge of creating a sign that would enable their brand to really stand out in a busy shopping centre. The solution that Signarama Milton Keynes came up with was a custom-made double-sided totem sign. The powder coated aluminium faces feature printed and cut vinyl detail, together with an illuminated panel for changeable graphics. Colour-matched snapframes allow Vom Fass to quickly change the poster they are using to promote current offers and new products. The project had several challenges associated with it. Access to the centre:mk could only be between the hours of 10pm and 6am so the fitting team had to work through the night to install the totem sign. Working with the Centre’s electrician ensured that the underfloor wiring and electrical connection were also completed on time.
